Stella Wolfe is a collaboration born out of a deep love of beautifully crafted things — the kind of work that is felt as much as it is seen. Rooted in our years creating at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, and shaped by over a decade photographing portraits and weddings in Vancouver, our appreciation for the tangible has always been at the centre of everything we do.

Each ribbon is dyed by hand in our studio, in small batches, from a unique blend of pigments developed to create subtle and complex shades. They are then hand torn, frayed, and spooled — a quiet, unhurried process that we believe is inseparable from the quality of what you hold in your hands. We are firm believers in the beauty that is held within a deliberate and thoughtful process, and that belief shapes every decision we make, from the colours we develop to the way each spool leaves our studio.
